GUWAHATI: The proposed “Delhi Tea Party between T H Muivah and the Government of India can result in nothing but another Delhi accord, which will be a replica of the Shillong Accord, stated a press release issued by the NSCN (K) here on Tuesday.
The talks between the Centre and the NSCN (IM) leaders T H Muivah have already generated a lot of heat and expectations from all quarters, while the Khaplang action feels it is a futile exercise.

However, the people of Nagaland and Nagas in general have welcomed the peace initiative.
The release issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity NSCN (Khaplang) on Tuesday stated that if the Government of India makes any kind of settlement with the NSCN (IM) they would call "all revolutionary organisations in the Northeast to strengthen its ties with the NSCN and start a wide revolution.
While coming down heavily on the Naga NGOs who have been attending the consultative meetings with the NSCN leaders the release said it is time for them to rehearse the after effects of Shillong Accord as these talks will ultimately lead to more trouble for which they will hold the Government of India responsible. The talks with leaders like T H Muivah, the release added, cannot solve the Indo-Naga political issue.
The release issued by the Khaplang faction once again raised the sensitive issue of identity of Tangkhul Nagas who dominate Ukhrul district of Manipur.
Zueluolie Angami, the self-styled Revenue and Land Reform Minister of NSCN (Khaplang), while talking to a group of journalists near Assam -Meghalaya border at a undisclosed place on Monday, had also warned home ministry saying, "Unless and until there is no unification of all the Naga tribes no peace talks will be fruitful. The proposed talks with Issac Chishi Swu and Thuingaleng Muivah are not going to help in bringing any solution to the 50 years old insurgency problem in Nagaland until and unless the entire Naga communities are united."
Angami also stated that if there is any probability of NSCN (I-M) contesting the coming Assembly polls with the help of the Centre, NSCN (K) would not be a silent spectator for any such development.
The self-styled minister of the NSCN (K) informed that more than one thousand cadres of the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), All Tripura Tigers Force (ATTF), Peoples Liberation Army (PLA), United National Liberation Front (UNLF), KYKL and PREPAK are presently taking training in various camps of the NSCN (K).
